Job Details:
  • Immediate employment.
  • Pay starts at $20.00; a higher rate of pay may be available if you have relevant experience. $1/hr. increase after 90 days and positive review.
  • We work Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 am (the length of the day varies based on the weather & job).
  • The typical workweek is 40+ hours w/ overtime pay available.
  • There is a potential for weekend/holiday work when poor weather shows its face.
  • No experience is necessary; you just need to be willing to learn.

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Light shrub trimming.
  • Deadheading perennials.
  • Pulling some weeds by hand.
  • Applying herbicides & pesticides with a backpack sprayer.
  • Perform landscape maintenance duties with other crews in spring and fall.
  • Maintain the company’s professional image while performing job duties.
 
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to actively work on feet for the entire day.
  • Anyone interested in driving for us must have a valid driver's license as well as a willingness to complete driver qualification (Pass a DOT physical with a clean drug test).
 
Job description:
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the horticultural details within townhomes by trimming shrubs, deadheading perennials, and applying herbicide and pesticide with a backpack sprayer. While Horticulture Services welcomes relevant experience, extensive knowledge and background are not required for this position. Therefore, there will be appropriate training and mentoring upon hire.
